Has anyone hiked the Mt Yonah trail in North GA? I know the area was gated/closed from many years because the access road crossed private party/Army Corp Land. Apparently, the trail to the summit has opened again. I recently read an article about a 18yr hiker who just graduated high school falling 600ft. She survived the fall but died of cardiac arrest while the EMT's where assisting her. Let me know if anyone has hiked this area.
