Starting the AT section hike 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
I got the itch this summer to start section hiking the AT this Fall. I've hiked most of the Smokies area but I've never been South of Fontana Dam. I plan on starting on the Southern end of the AT in Georgia sometime in October and the first trip will be 4-5 days. Does anyone have a suggestion on a good trailhead with parking about 60 miles in and a shuttles service to drop 4 people off on the southern end. Thanks, Pick
