Hello everyone! I know this isn't the FootTrails forum that you are used to seeing but hopefully we'll soon have the same great discussions that we've had in the past. If you aren't already registered, I encourage you to do so and help us build this thing back up! I can't say how disappointed we were when the old site data was lost and I certianly do apologize for the downtime. I know that with all the great contributors we had out there we can get this board back up to speed fast and continue to provide great information about backpacking, camping and other outdoor activites that we enjoy. Welcome back to FootTrails!

Anyone going hiking this Feb?? Work is keeping me tied up until March. Then I'm headed to the Smokies or Big South Fork.

Welcome back Silverjay! I'm glad we had people out there anxious for the site to return. As of right now, I personally don't have any hiking plans for February but I'd like to put a trip together no later than April. It's been quite some time since I've been out. My last trip was to Virgin Falls Pocket Wilderness in May of 2007. After that, I got married, sold a house, bought a house and moved twice. So excuses for not getting in the woods this year very soon are over!
