Hike for Discovery - Woodstock Kickoff Meeting 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
I picked up a Hike for Cures flyer at my gym and there is a kickoff meeting in Woodstock on February 20th at 6:00 PM. I think this would be a great organization to get involved with.

I attended the kickoff meeting and joined the group. I plan on taking part in the June hike out in Rocky Mountain National Park. The personal goal is to summit Long's Peak while the ultimate goal is to raise as much money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as possible. Our first training hike is this Saturday out at Stone Mountain.

We had a training hike at Stone Mtn. and it was really cool. We did the 6+ mile trail around the base of the mountain that I never even knew was there. It's a very scenic trail and a very nice day hike. I'll have to do a trip report on it.
